Meet Finnigan on the Virgin River Rim Trail

Meet Finnigan the Frog, he is my new mojo! I took him on his first mountain bike ride last weekend on the Virgin River Rim Trail. He is my little biking buddy, and is fastened on very securely for all the bumpy and quick decents.
I rode the bottom part of the VRRT from Te-ah to Deer Haven Campground. I was too lazy to ride down to Woods Ranch and then back up. It kicked my but just to get back up to Te-ah. This is the most beautiful part of the VRRT. There are more aspens and thick vegetation. The single track is tall and lush as you can see in the photo above. The weather was overcast and perfect for riding conditions.
Imagine that, I ran into Guy on the trail! We don't ride together very often but we usually plan our rides so we cross paths. That way we both get a great workout, I don't hold him back and he doesn't blow me up!
I am just posting this and I am out the door to ride again for the weekend. We are debating going back to the VRRT or heading over to the North Rim. I'll post when I return.
This is the spring above Websters Flat. It looks really cool in the middle of the meadow.
work hard, play hard, rider harder.
