Grant received his mission call!

Grant came home from Logan on March 6th for his Spring Break. On Wed. the 11th he received his mission call in the mail. Grant had several neighbors, friends, and family show up at his mom's house during lunch to get the news as he opened his call. He is to report to the Provo MTC on July 8th to serve in the Peru Lima North mission. He is very excited about this call.

Grant was also scheduled to have his wisdom teeth pulled this very same day. We all went to lunch before he went to the dentist. Guy and I watched as his teeth were extracted. It all went well and fairly easy. He recovered without any complications! That's Grant for ya. He got busy while he was still in town getting his passport processed and starting his series of shots. There is a lot to do. I am glad we have a few months so figure all of this out. He will be home from college in May and we will getting a lot ready then. We are grateful for Grant and the opportunity he has to serve a mission.
