Gingerbread Decorating Tradition

Chrystal, Sadie, Chanel, Taylor & Rob (my cousin)
It is tradition that each of the kids decorate a gingerbread house for Christmas.  This year Guy and Grant were absent.  Rob came and Taylor really enjoyed working with him.  They got really creative.  Annie came over and helped Sadie, they just enjoy being together!  This year I actually decorated one too!  I usually just help and clean as we go.  By the time I have them built and ready for the kids to decorate I have had enough.  I got smart this year and bought them pre-built.  This is the way to go, I enjoyed the creative end of the project instead of the construction part.

Taylor, Chrystal, Chanel, Sadie (order of the above houses)
This is an areal view of Taylor and Rob's creation.  They worked more on yard accessories and didn't leave much room to access their house!  I enjoyed watching their creative minds spin together.

Trucks, swing sets and snowmen, WOW!
These two "Goons" (that was their word for the night), put their house on stilts so they could have stairs. They have a pool and jacuzzi too!

Chanel is very creative and has a lot of intricate detail and color on her house, Very Nice
Sadie thought my house looked good enough to eat!  Very sweet but not very good!
This is my attempt to a Christmas tree inside the view window.  It really does look better in real life!

MERRY CHRISTMAS!
work hard, play hard, rider harder.
