Friday night I went to Tuacahn to see "Thriller" with Sadie, Sandra and Les. Thanks Sandra for the ticket, you are a great friend. (She insisted on buying my ticket for my birthday, even though I invited her!) It was a very entertaining show, I loved watching the creative dancing. Sadie critiqued all the moves for the first few dances, then she relaxed and just enjoyed it.

The next morning Sadie and I woke up early to make sugar cookies before she had to go to the church for a Primary program practice. Taylor had a soccer game. I finished rolling, cutting, and baking the halloween-shaped cookies while Sadie was a the church, then Sadie and I went to watch the end of Taylor's (#13) soccer game. One of his best buddies, Cody (#24), was on the opposing team and it was his birthday. Cody made a couple of awesome goals but the game ended in a tie. Taylor and Cody hung out together while Sadie and I went to the "What Women Want Expo". I was wiped out after all that. I don't know if the crowd wears me out or if it is just my mind spinning from seeing so much stuff. It was cool though and Sadie and I enjoyed spending the time together. We picked the boys up and and headed home to decorate our cookies.

Sandra brought her grandkids over to join in on the fun. Bodi, Brooklyn, and Kaitlyn had the most fun carving their pumpkins. The older kids decorated a haunted house that Sandra brought with her. After the little kids left, the big kids went outside to finish carving the faces on their pumpkins. They worked very maticulously to clean the insides out perfectly. I don't know what happened but the next thing I knew, pumkins were flying in the air and everyone was laughing. I guess one of the pumpkins got knocked off the table, cracking down the middle so Taylor punched Sadies' pumpkin so it would look the same. They got into it and then they were wearing the smashed pumpkins on their heads. Taylor and Cody saved one pumpkin to blow-up. They didn't have much luck so they just burned the inside of it!

We gave all but ten out of 7 dozen of the cookies away. I don't need any temptations, these are one of my biggest weaknesses.
work hard, play hard, rider harder.

Looks like way too much fun! And I am glad not to have the temptation of the cookies, they look delicious!
Thanks for taking such good care of Cody that day. He had a blast!
I have pictures of your kids decorating pumpkins too, however, they don't look the same at all...:) Would you please ask them to stop growing up! Who is the beauty in the kitchen making somthing, could that possibly be my biggest girl? OMG, they are so big!
